Intro

I am currently doing freelance web design so if you ever need anything done please get in touch. As the work in building a website varies from project to project it is hard for me to give specific fees. For example a four page website might be easy to make if it is just a simple website containing a company profile. A similar four page site with many graphics and a login or ecommerce system would obviously entail a far greater amount of work.

If you give me a brief description of your needs I can provide you with a quote. If you would like to proceed after that, we can then either meet in person or correspond via phone or email to discuss your exact needs. Though I cannot give you a price right away, I am very good value for money, especially when you take into account my quality of work.

XHTML / CSS

I design my websites using XHTML and CSS.

XHTML provides the building blocks of creating a website and is used to provide each page with content such as paragraphs of text, a set of links or pictures. This content can then be manipulated to create impressive results using CSS.

CSS Is used to add layout, colour and generally bring life to the content created with XHTML. It is a very efficient way of adjusting the aesthetic qualities of a website, for example if one wanted to change all the colours of their links for example, they could do so by changing a single line of a file.

PHP

PHP turns a static website of text and pictures into something which users can interact with. This includes such things as contact forms, login systems and forms to interact with databases stored with records of information. Though I have been working with PHP only for six months, I have created some useful websites with my scripting knowledge.

Web Standards

Every website I create adheres to W3C Web Standards ensuring consistent standards across the web.
